A Happy Keto Christmas Dessert: Heavenly Chocolate Mousse

Ready in 10 minutes

This keto chocolate mousse is definitely my all-time favourite keto dessert recipe! It is seriously the easiest but most delicious recipe ever, and Saahil introduced me to it. And the best thing: it tastes amazingly the same as real chocolate mousse! It is also perfect for if you crave a sweet breakfast recipe. Last year we served this keto dessert during Christmas and everyone totally loved it.

The funny thing is that I accidentally left the mousse in the freezer instead of the fridge, when I first tried the recipe. Turned out you can also turn this recipe into a keto chocolate ice cream!

So do you have little time to prepare your Christmas dinner? Definitely try out this chocolate mousse and impress your guests!

The best and most practical tips are to eat with intention, go for all the veggie dishes, look for substitutions, implement some extra movement, not waste your carbs and calories on drinks, arrive not super hungry at a gathering, and make sure you have keto proof snacks with you!

Are you not planning to stay keto or low-carb? Also not a problem, as long as you make a conscious desicion! There is a way to eat your carb favourites without gaining too much or falling completely off the wagon. Try a cyclical keto approach. By doing so, you can increase your carb-intake during the Holidays. Focus mainly on clean carbs such as sweet potatoes, quinoa, starchy vegetables, wheat-free bread and legumes and go back into keto or low-carb right back after the festive season by implementing an extended fast or drastically reducing your caloric-intake and carb-intake. An intense workout will also do the trick!

The most important thing is to be kind to yourself and grateful for your body and all you have in this life. Stressing about your keto macros and eating healthy during the Holidays, won't make your health journey more fun or efficient! Instead, focus on spending quality time with your loved ones and being in a state of gratitude. That's what the whole Holiday season is truly about :)
